After the product is fed into the top of the multihead combination weigher, the internal distribution system of the weigher starts working. This system distributes the product. With the help of linear feed plates, different linear feeders will deliver some product into the feed hopper. For example, if you are using a 14-head multihead weigher machine, there will normally be 14 linear feeders that will deliver products to 14 feed hoppers. After the products are delivered to the hopper, the load cell begins to calculate the weight of the product in the weigh hopper, and the processor in the multihead weigher then calculates the best combination of available weights needed to achieve the desired target weight.
