Polystar to present Recycling Machine in K Show with New Brand Image

Polystar adds efficiency and style into its recycling line for the upcoming K show (Germany) in October 2013

Since 2012, Polystar has installed more than 100 recycling machines in 70 countries worldwide. It has emerged as a new market leader in the recycling field, gaining popularity among plastic film and woven producers.

Polystar's high efficiency, one-step recycling machine HNT-V is designed for the reprocessing of PE and PP packaging films. This shredder integrated pelletizing system requires less space and energy consumption while producing high quality plastic pellets at a productive rate.

In addition to in-house (post-industrial) film waste, the system is also able to process washed flakes and scraps. This equipment is highly recommended for film producers of commercial bags, garbage bags, agricultural films, food packaging, as well as producers in the woven industry of PP woven bags, jumbo bags, tapes and yarns.

The pellets produced by the HNT-V can be put directly back into the production line, in most cases for blown film or pipe extrusion processes. Leftover waste of edge trim from blown film in the format of scraps or complete film rolls can be efficiently recycled in a simple process with only one operator. The system combines cutting, extrusion and pelletizing into one compact and efficient recycling line.

This shredder integrated system eliminates the need of precutting the material. The cutter compactor system of the HNT-V ensures fast and stable feeding flow from the shredding drum to the extruder. Furthermore, the double-vented degassing zone on the extruder and dual piston filter screen changer enhance the overall performance of the machine and the quality of the pellets that it produces.

More than 1,000 sets of recycling machines have been produced at Polystar's facility since 1988.
