SHGF Servo-Driven Garbage Bag Making & Folding Machine

The SHGF series from Sing Siang Machinery (Taiwan) is a garbage bag making machine with a built-in automatic folder. Servo motors drive the film feed, sealing and cut-off, and each bag is folded in three or four before it leaves the line. Five models cover different bag sizes, running 30 to 60 bags per minute.

What does the SHGF machine do?

It takes film to finished, folded T-shirt style garbage bags in one pass: feed, seal, cut, fold, count. Because folding happens on the same line, bags come off ready to pack. No separate folding machine, and no staff folding by hand.

Why does servo drive matter on a bag making line?

Servo-driven rolls feed the film at a steady rate, so the cut lands in the same place on every bag. On the SHGF, length tolerance is held to +1 mm, and bags move into the folding section smoothly instead of bunching. For a converter, that means fewer rejects and less time adjusting the line.

How many folds, and how is batch size set?

Bags fold in three or four, depending on bag width. Operators set the number of bags per stack on the Auto-Digital Counter, so output comes off in counted batches.

Which SHGF model fits your bag size?

Pick by bag size first. The SHGF30 and SHGF36 handle bags up to 40" long, with the SHGF30 the fastest in the range at 60 bags per minute. The SHGF42, 50 and 60 take bags up to 55" long for larger refuse sacks, with the SHGF60 covering the widest bags at 30 per minute. All five share the same compact layout, so they fit into an existing production floor without a long dedicated line.
