VietnamPlas and VietnamPrintPack will Concurrent Held on 13-16 October with a Hybrid Exhibition

The 20th Vietnam International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition (VietnamPlas) and The 20th Vietnam International Printing & Packaging Industrial Exhibition (VietnamPrintPack) are organized by Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd. and Ministry of Industry & Trade - Vinexad National Trade Fair & Advertising J.S.C (VINEXAD). The twin shows will be held from 13 to 16 October at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center and the online expo will open in advance on 11 October.

The online exhibition, which was launched for the first time this year, will introduce instant messaging and video call functions for visitors to chat with exhibitors in real-time, creating a safe and free from the geographically restricted business environment. The online exhibition puts efforts into the continuous integration of industries between Vietnam and the international. Meanwhile, it also provides another option for enterprises to expand their business when they are unable to move freely. The industry seminars will be held both on-site and online to allow every participant to understand the current industrial development and actual conditions in Vietnam better.

Vietnam has been at the center of the global network with its superior strengths and the FTAs even under the influence of COVID-19. The economic growth rate is still rising and continues to attract foreign investments. In 2020, Vietnam had the highest growth rate in Asia at 2.91% and eyes economic growth of 6.5% in 2021. Recently, the growth orientation of Vietnam’s plastics sector now focuses on effectiveness and sustainability. The demand for biodegradable plastics in Vietnam is projected to reach 80,000 tons annually by 2025. The analysts also forecast that the paper packaging segment will increase by 12% in 2021-2025 thanks to the rapid growth of Vietnam's e-commerce, and the growth of the plastic packaging segment will depend on spending on food and non-alcoholic beverages.
