Presentation of K-Show 2019 @Taiwan: Introduction, Technology Evolution

We have honored by inviting Mr. Werner Matthias Dornscheidt (President and CEO of Messe Düsseldorf) and Mr. Ulrich Reifenhäuser (Chairman of K 2019 Exhibitors' Council) for an interview during the presentation. We asked them about K-Show, new plastic technologies and their opinions about forthcoming Chinaplas exhibition.

Mr. Dornscheidt mentioned that K has a long history as 67 years. Despite of K was a quite new show for the industry when it was founded, it has been a very specialized trade show for the special industry fields such as machinery and polymers. And today K is the largest show for the industry. He said that K-Show 2019 is again fully booked. There will be a tremendous amount, more than three thousand exhibitors and around 240 thousand visitors from 160-170 countries are expected.
 
 
We also ask to Mr. Dornscheidt his opinions about Chinaplas. He stated that Messe Düsseldorf has 30 percent shares of the Chinaplas, both trade shows are nearly the same in terms of service philosophies. The main difference is the distribution of the visitors. 50 to 80 percent of the K-Show's visitors are coming from foreign countries, whereas 80 percent of the Chinaplas visitors are Chinese people. Considering more than one billion of population and the size of the market, Chinaplas lets exhibitors to go to their clients. Therefore, Mr. Dornscheidt founds this exhibition held up in China fully right.

Mr. Reifenhäuser shared his opinion about the plastic materials and the global plastic market. He says; plastic is the universal, superior and a new material considering its history. Plastic is the best solution currently, but it brings with a global garbage problem. He defends burning method is the best solution for the non-recyclable plastic wastes, because it is clean and a method to create energy. He also mentioned about how successful this method is done in Germany.

PRM-TAIWAN is one of the big funs of K-Show and we will take our place in Düsseldorf during 6-23 of October 2019 to meet with international visitors, to introduce our Taiwanese clients to them and to collect their inquiries.
